 Product Description


This First Day Cover commemorates the 30th Anniversary of the First Flight of the Victor-24 December, 1952. The image by aviation artist John Young depicts Victor Tanker of No 57 Squadron RAF refueling Hercules of No 70 Squadron RAF between Ascension Island and the Falklands, July 1982. This envelope was flown in Victor K2, XL512 of No. 57 Squadron on Operation Snow Goose 83 dealing with the recovery of RAF Jaguars from deployment in Norway.
