This First Day Cover commemorates the 70th Anniversary of the Formation of N.II Sqdn. RAF 14 February, 1985. The image by aviation artist John Young, depicts Westland Wapitis of No. 11 Squadron-North-West Frontier - 1931. This envelope was flown in Lightning MK 6 XS 928 "BJ" on 4 March, 1985 from Royal Air Force Binbrook.
