STS-135 was the final flight of the Atlantis, ending the Space Shuttle program. By the end of its final mission on July 21, 2011, Atlantis had orbited the Earth 4,848 times, traveling nearly 126,000,000 miles in space or more than 525 times the distance from Earth to the Moon. The Space Shuttle Atlantis now resides as an exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center Complex.
