Now available to order, MIG-25 Foxbot - "Chasing The Blackbird" by Mark Karvon. The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25 prototype flew for the first time in 1964, although the aircraft did not reach service until 1970. The aircraft, which was mostly made of stainless steel, had a top speed of Mach 2.83. It could exceed Mach 3 without causing serious damage to the plane and its engines. The aircraft, which was designed as an interceptor, had a sophisticated radar and could carry four air-to-air missiles.
