January 5, 2022 - New Aviation Art By Mark Karvon

This new Aviation Art Print is now available to order, YB-49 Flying Wing by Mark Karvon. The YB-49 was a jet-powered evolution of the XB-35 and YB-35 Flying Wing designs, which were propeller-driven. It took off for the first time on October 22, 1947.

The first YB-49 took off from Muroc AFB in California on February 9, 1949, and flew 4 hours and 29 minutes to Andrews AFB in Washington, DC. That flight is depicted in this print.
