Tom Freeman passed away, unexpectedly, on June 16, 2015. A brilliant artist, he will be missed by so many around the world. Tom's daughters are going to continue on with the business, and will be just numbering the prints in order to continue Tom's legacy and to keep the integrity of all his Giclee editions intact.

Paratroopers as they land on the first town to be liberated on D-Day June 6, 1944.

Ste-Mere-Eglise was the first town in France to be liberated on June 6, 1944. The town had been occupied by the German forces since June 18th, 1940. Not only was the town made famous for being the first town liberated on D-Day, but also by a paratrooper John Steel whose parachute was caught in the church steeple. He was captured by the Germans and later released.
