TAME, or TAME EP Linea Aerea del Ecuador, is an Ecuadorian airline that was created in 1962. TAME (pronounced "tah-meh") was Ecuador's national carrier and largest airline. TAME's headquarters were in Quito, Pichincha Province, and Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito served as the major hub. Ecuador's Air Force established the airline. It became a business company in 2011 and began offering domestic, international, and charter flights. The Ecuadorian government decided to shut down all operations and liquidate the airline on May 20, 2020.
