STS-103 photographic print signed by Mission Specialist Steve Smith
Steven (Steve) Smith was one of four Mission Specialists on the STS-103 mission from December 20th to 28th, 1999. This mission was his third of four space flights over the course of his career. Smith ranks internationally for his record of space walk duration, totaling nearly 50 hours of EVA (extravehicular activity).
STS-103 launched for the purpose of a multiple-day Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission, SM-3A. The primary image of this photographic print shows Smith retrieving a PGT (Pistol Grip Tool) from storage on a tool board stanchion affixed to the remote manipulator system. Each limited-edition presentation has been individually signed by Steve Smith. Certificate of Authenticity included.
