One of the largest and best known battles in American military history, the Battle of Gettysburg was the turning point in the Civil War. “The Last Command” depicts Brigadier General John Buford briefing I Corps commander Major General John F. Reynolds on Union defensive positions at McPherson Ridge, outside of Gettysburg on July 1, 1863.
