This piece, from a P-38 that flew in the war in 1943, is mounted over a full size image of an actual P-38, showcasing where the artifact fit on the plane. This one of a kind piece comes with a history and a certificate of authenticity, making it a truly unique and authentic addition to any collection.

This artifact was retrieved from a site at the former Army Air Forces base at Finschhaven, on the north coast of New Guinea. Likely the victom of combat or accident damage, the aircraft had been stripped of useful parts and buried.
